I understand the tread direction on these tyres optimises grip for braking at the front and grip for drive at the rear but is there any tradeoff to rolling resistance on hard surfaces fitting the rear in this direction?

I found the rear wears out faster on the road with the tread reversed so have reverted to having both pointed in the front direction.

Worth noting that schwalbe have updated the tread pattern and I'm still on the old version.

OK thanks since drive grip is not an issue on the road I was thinking I would fit them both facing forward.
