After a pretty bad prang at my last race I could do with a new frame. My kit is 2004 XT and SIDs.
I go for a ride once in a while and race it over summer. The Scandal seems ideal, standard headset, 27.2 post etc.
Any other cheap offerings?

Would need a new post and fancy headset for the whippet. But the same is true for a new scandal. 2nd hand older scandal would be 27.2 and normal headset though.

The scandal is a brilliant frame - I use one for XC racing/Trailquests.
