Just tried my Big Dog axle with the Scandal frame. It doesn't thread in. Can someone enlighten me as to the correct fitment?

The website states 148 BOOST M12 x 1.75, 12mm thread, 169mm
I found a ktm quick release one for £20 as I didn't want to carry an 8mm Allen key round. The thread is slightly too long but doesn't matter

Thanks, since wailing I've done the same research , and just found KTM [BrandX out of stock]. Nice to know it fits, but also out of stock. Bit mystified as to why there are two thread profiles. Got one from Wallace cycles
