[Closed] Scam warning

Hello folks... it's been a long time since I last posted, but thought I should post a wee warning here in case this shady git either tries to sell on here *or* one of you comes across his items on Facebook marketplace.

If you follow that link it's for a pair of Fox 38's. The same seller has a ton of other bike related listings too (you'll need to open the above link and look at the sellers profile.).... Anyway, I was a bit dubious because of price, but messaged him and it got worse. The warning signs: He wouldn't be available for pick up, postage only. He also wanted bank transfer or PayPal friends and family only. I then did a bit of digging - all of 'his' items are straight up copy/paste from completed eBay auctions except with the price lower. All the copy pastes are from different sellers, so it's not just him selling on two separate marketplaces. I also messaged one of the sellers to confirm he wasn't this guy and hadn't sold his item to him either.

Posting here in case one of you sees his ad, thinks they're getting a bargain and falls victim and loses a chunk of money. I've reported the items and the seller to FB marketplace, but as usual, nothing has been done and he's still available to rip people off.
