[#1738207]

Tempted by a chameleon. Looking for some inspiration with regards to colours.

Also I'm 6ft tall. I presume a large?

Many thanks

I have a yellow one:

I need a newer picture to use, though. Or at least one where it's front wheel isn't bust. That's an XL frame, by the way. I'm 6'3" or 6'4", though that saddle isn't at a riding height.

From what I've seen of the other colours, I'd rather have a green frame than a yellow one.

Just finished building mine up, it's also an XL - I'm 6'1" but they come up small, I test rode a large & it felt OK but it had a long stem & I had to use a layback post to get the fit right.

I'm 5'10" and my large fits like a glove. Great bike, when it breaks/wears out, I'll buy another one.

Thanks

2 nice bikes... I was thinking yellow but I do like the white.

Heard they came up short but the top tube is the same as my present bike so interested in people's experiences.

6'1" on an XL. Seems about right to me.

I had a 2009 large chameleon, due to the continuous top tube they tend to be harsh on the rear - i'm presuming thats why the chameleon above has a thud buster.

Im 5 11" and the large was too big to be fun - plus there wasn't enough seat post showing to create some extra 'give' on the rear.

IMO 'hardcore' hardatils need to be on the smaller side, I normally ride a large Blur LTc which is perfect & have recently built a 17" P7 which (due to sizing, I think) feels 100x better.

Chams have actually pretty conservative geometry ( for a HT that'll take a 160mm fork) so mines got a 90mm stem on a 23cm top tube.

I'M 6'1", I have a large (2009 with ebb) and looking back i would probally get an XL, Its a lovely bike but i use it more on longer rides than the "play bike" i bought it for.

Really good bike though.

I'm 5'11" and have a large one ;-). The medium was way too small.

Fits me perfectly, insanely chuckable. 110% of fun. It can be a bit harsh though on big, rocky rides but that's probably just me.
