[Closed] sawing off fork brake bosses, anyone done it? any tips?

1. Use hacksaw to cut off boss.
2. Use file to clean up any reminiscence.
3. Prime - sand - paint- sand- paint - lacquer to required finish.

I did it to some z1 forks many years ago. Filed down, shot blasted and powder coated locally. Looked great with some new decals. Just make sure they're not holding the legs and arch together like some marzocchi forks used to.

'reminiscence' The word I was looking for without even knowing of its' existence.
