It depends where you are travelling from they're only about 2 or 3 miles long. There are a couple of nice little sections with tabletops and berms though, which I never expected as these kind of urban trails are usually pretty dull. So it's worth doing a few laps and repeating some of the fun bits till you've got all the jumps nailed.

It really isnt worth travelling that far to ride it.
The trail is 1 mile long and is basically a parallel blue/red with black 'taster' sections. Its nice and flowy adn to be fair not a bad bit of trail.
I ride it cause its local and Sandwell Valley is part of my regular 15 mile route but I wouldn't go out of my way to ride it.

I live thirty minutes away (riding) and have done it once, I won't be doing it again. It's pretty dull, sorry if that sounds harsh. If you travel, go to the Chase.

Very, very short. Fine for a concise urban trail - not worth travelling too though...

I went a while ago as I CBA going all the way to Cannock.

It's good for what it is, and if you lived nearby there'd be no reason not to include it in your local rides, but for the amount of time you'd spend travelling you'd be better off going to FoD or Cannock. FoD would be more similar to the sandwell trails.

As said, it's right about a mile in length. It's short and mostly tight. You'll get round in 2-3 mins and that's it. It's more like a long bmx track than an mtb trail and there are several poorly placed rocks which will severely hinder your progress if you get a corner wrong. Good to take the kids round a few times at a steady pace but you'll be very unrewarded if you make a long drive up to the valley just for it.

The red is 2 mile in length according to my Strava and the blue would be similar.

If you're in the area then there is plenty to ride that isn't graded but it's a bit of a slop fest there at the moment as soon as you're off the man made stuff. Probably more worth heading to Cannock than just up here for Sandwell.
