Can anyone recommend a good place to hire a couple of f/s bikes over the bridge in marin county .Off there as part of our honeymoon and would like to ride up Mt Tam on one of the days. Is it "allowed" ?
Also any recommendations for routes from people who have been there ?
Many thanks

Had a great day riding over there a long time back - can't advise on the specifics you mention. One thing I would recommend though is to drop down to Tiburon at the end of your ride, eat outside at the Mexican by the pier (if its still there) and catch the ferry back across the bay once you've finished your meal.

It is allowed. Plus-1 on the Roaring Mouse suggestion. Chris lives across the street from my mum, and I spoke with him a few days ago. He said he has demo bikes, and under some circumstances he will allow them to go out on real rides.

Let me know when you are coming over.

I've used StokedSF a couple of times - highly recommended.

I stayed with Chris on my west coast ride, Mill Valley is a sweet place.
