What is the score there in summer now, are the lifts normally open (not just during the EWS) and if so does it link over to Morzine?

There's no lift link to Morzine. Think there might be a bus (or buses)?
Road must be open as far as Col de Joux Plan / Col du Ranfoilly from Samoens side, judging by the number of tourists up there last week, but is blocked at Ranfoilly, so MTB only from there onwards.
Some guys rode over to Flaine from Morzine last week, but I don't know what their logistics was for getting back.
