Nice, since I´m easily as good as those guys (disclaimer:i also lie)

I don´t have the same shiny xtr levers, mine are older but I like them and don´t want to change.

Any reason why you would want to? The weight of saint brakes is in the caliper not in the lever.

I´m not bothered by weight but my brakes don´t seem to have the bite I want.
I tried another bike with saints and really liked the "stopiness" of it.

I run the saint calliper/xtr trail lever combo, upgrading the levers on a previous full set.
The lever feel of the XTR is worthy of upgrade alone.
I've experienced no loss in power.
Weight saving in the region of 60g per lever IIRC
Pimp factor 10

Bike-Components.de have an interesting offer.

69 Eur for the left, 69 Eur for the right, or 199 Eur for both

I don't think the old xtr one's will work they need to be the new one's with servo wave.

honourablegeorge my German is pretty non-existant but I reckon the individual levers are just levers, the pairs include hoses and maybe brake fluid.

Although buying two individuals would still leave cash to buy a couple of XTR hoses and a bottle of mineral oil.

Yeah, possibly a few extras in the set.

Anyoen know of a site where these are in stock, and dirt cheap? (Free postage to Ireland and the moon on a stick also accepted)

I ran XT Servowaves with Saint calipers on my Spicy and it was utterly reliable all the time - even at the Mega (x2).

If I wasnt such a tart, I'd keep using them, but the new M985 XTRs were too much of a tempting proposition, and I've just brought them.

The XT/Saint combo will go on my Charge I think...maybe

ps no need to have Servowave levers - all Shimano brake levers and calipers are interchangeable.

Servowave is nicer to use though and more powerful.
