End of next month, it looks like.
Tempted to get a Zee mech to replace my SRAM X9
Anyone know if Zee's super short cage will work with 36t and FS or is it an either/or?
Two Zee variants, one for 32-36t and one for 23-28t

Had spotted those, pity I'm off to Chatel on the 18th.
Still, will probably go 10 speed Zee and perhaps 1x10 at the same time when I get back.
yep, but is the SS cage long enough, the 11-28 or 11-36 variants just dictate the angle parralelogram moves at, is the cage long enough to work with that capacity and the extra chain growth on FS.
A bit like medium caged mechs worked on 3x9 hardtails, but only just, so didn't work on some FS bikes.
Right - I'm sure they do - you'd expect anything designed to work on a DH bike with 8"+ of travel would take that kind of thing into account, unless it was made by Crank Bros.
Current 9spd Saint SS does fine.
Possibly a stupid question but can you run 2x10 with the zee mech, running off existing 10speed SLX stuff?
As above, you might just get away with it on a hardtail, but normally, for 2 front rings, you need a medium cage.
I got all excited then, thinking they might have stock.
Shimano introduces Zee, a new line of gravity components that are an ideal starting point for aggressive riders and racers.
Sorry lads, no mention of it being suitable for STW mincers ๐
