Is there any benefit to buying a saint shifter over an XT one. XT £33 Saint £45

Cheers

Had and xt which was good. Now got a saint and I much prefer it. Especially for 1x10. The thumb lever is a little longer and has more grip. But it just feels so much smoother. So for me, I'd pay the extra.

Just fitted a saint on my Solaris. It's much nicer than the xt on my last bike. And the fact that you can down shift 2 gears with one push is ace. If I were you I'd pay the difference.

Had both, currently got Saint and prefer it - mainly because it feels more robust. They're both more than acceptable though, so unless you have burning desire to spend more money I'm sure XT will do the job.

Saint is IMO the best shifter Shimano have ever made- they did a good job of ripping off the SRAM positive feel, while retaining their own superior build quality. It is ace.

XT is very good as well mind but not quite up to the same standard.

Sounds like Saint is the way forward for the extra few £££'s
