Saint shifter compatibility... Question.

Hi All,

I've just knackered my Deore RH shifter. LBS said it's goosed! Can I run a Saint shifter with an XT rear mech?

Further, I can't believe that the might Shimano don't offer shifters separately...

All advice, as always, is appreciated.

I should mention that my XT mech is not a shadow model & is last years design.

as far as I'm aware, all shimano mtb shifters are compatible with all shimano mtb mechs (of the same # speeds) - its only shimano vs sram that has cable pull ratio issues

You can run any 8or 9 speed shimano shifter with any 8 or 9 speed shimano mech. Look on crc for seperate shifters.

Err, they do. Madison are listing 12 RH shifters...
