Ok,

Can anyone recommend a comfortable saddle as i've had my balls neutered three weeks ago and it still 'aint happening on the WTB Rocket V saddle that i own.

Weight is NOT an issue here, its more about comfort so your thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Stu

I think you need to look at shape - decide where the pressure you can't cope with is and then look for saddles that are cut away there.

I found it took a while to get 'comfortable' again post snip but stuck with my wtb saddle.

do you get discomfort at other times?

Hi wwaswas,

Yeah, getting that drawing, aching feeling on the right hand side if i stand for any amount of time. Didn't go too well for me actually, swelling was unbelievable !

How long was it before you were back in the saddle btw,
the doctor who performed the procedure recommended no biking for 3 months !

I also ride a WTB Rocket V and will be getting the snip ๐Ÿ˜• later this year. Completely forgot it may effect my riding for a short while afterwards, so will be interested in any saddle that may help for a while.

There is someone on here who rides with a noseless saddle all the time - can't remember who though

FWIW - I use a Rocket V & it never caused me any issues

I wonder if its something he's crafted himself or can you get them like that?

was probably 3-4 weeks before I was comfortable. Still get the odd 'tugging' sensation but it tends to pass quickly (op was 3 years ago).

sfb virtually rode home from the op whereas one of my freinds had 2 months off work with a scrotal abcess (puss filled sack the size of a grapefruit anyone?).

just take it easy, don;t ride if it hurts and see how you get on woudl be my advice, although 3 months sounds liek a long time.

you shouldnt be riding if it still hurts...plain and simple!!

or looka t it another way, jump on your bike, ride throught the pain, possibly damage the "work" thats been done and in 12 months or so from now, oh well i never, she's missed her period! ๐Ÿ˜ฏ

then you wont be riding very often!!!

get some nuts and take a break!give the bike a full service and let your nads recover.jeeez! ๐Ÿ™„
