Are the rules the same as for XC races for age? i.e. I'm 29 this year, and will be 30 before the end of the year.
For XC races this puts me in the Masters category - which is 30-39, as I will be 30 before the end of the year.
Is this the same for the CRC Marathon series? Or is the entry just the age I am now?

Haven't got a clue t be fair, thought about asking CRC?
Oh well, it's not stated in the rules - so I'll go by intuition and go for what my age is currently - so into the Open Male.
Its not a race and there are no placings published in the results ,just finish timesb (they don't even differentiate between the distances).
So it makes no odds which category you enter!!
