Riding a variety of terrain in varied conditions but mainly wet.

Fancying them but expensive just on a fancy.

Been running the 2.2 Ust version all year. Loads of grip, not the fastest rolling tyre but Very good none the less...

I've found the cheaper Continental Tyres to be a bit rubbish - no disrespect to those running them so go with Black Chilli and/or ProTection if you can! Found a good selection here:

Had the 2.4 RQ UST on the front for a year and thought it was a fantastic tyre, seriously good. 2.2 UST on the back was OK - probably not worth the money (pushing 50 quid IIRC for the black chilli).

Just got a new set of non UST 2.2s for the whippet over winter. Fitted the front and it's improved things a lot from what was on there previous - I bought them from one of the German websites where you save a bit of money, something like 60 quid for the pair with shipping I think.

Very good IMHO, they come up quite large though.

I like em, as an all rounder theyre pretty much ideal, similar to High rollers I reckon, used High rollers for about 3 years and have been using a Rubber queen on the front, Race king on the back combo for XC for the last 2 years, been real impressed with the newer Conti stuff.
