[Closed] RTW adventures - trailer or panniers?

hi

I am heading off after the summer to see a bit of the world by bike - what do the STW collective think about the merits of luggage options? and why?

i havent sorted out exactly where I will be going but most of the riding will probably be in NZ, SE Oz and maybe home via Asia. then again N and S america are hard to ignore. i will be mixing up the camping and hostel/b n bs

I am leaning towards a trailer, as that will free up the bike, I want to do some road/off road touring with proper off road rides. I am thinking of taking my 456.
