Have a friend with a much beloved Ghost that has a RST fork with lockout lever, which she sadly broke off. Being a RST lever(and so I guess rare) replacing it is looking like an expensive deal.
It looks like this:

and so similar to poplocs and others.
Would using one of the alternatives (seen a cheap SR suntour on ebay) work?
