I ah always steered clear of SIDs due to being "too heavy" for them - thinking pre 2000.

The new SIDs (RLT Dual Air) seem to just be a lighter version of the Rebas - same chassis but none of the flex of the older style forks.

Looking for a 120mm fork for the front of my Soul. Despite my thoughts of extra radness whilst riding I am a fairly wheels on ground rider ๐Ÿ˜†

So any thoughts on this model in the RS forks?

For XC and trail centers they are more than OK for you. They use fairly stiff 32mm lowers, the same as Fox etc. You may want to think about 15mm drop-outs for extra stiffness.

Magura Durin 120mm - Light, stiff and IMHO better than the RS.

I'm over 110kg and have pounded mine for over 2 years without issue.

Also they actually bottom out at 130mm.

Ideal for your soul.

You make a good point, I can't see what the difference might be but I'd stick to the Reba's, why risk it if you are heavier rider?
(my fork of choice for 85-120mm travel)

Seem to recall that the SIDS have a max rotor size of 185mm? Could be wrong though.

Reba's are 203mm if you want to run big rotors.
