[#3428333]

Ive got some Sektor coil r sl models on my pitch and am thinking about selling them to fund a new pair of Air forks.

Ive got a medium and firm spring for them

they are 20mm maxle and steerer is roughly 203mm

what sort of price are sektors fetching secondhand wise ??

not sure what to value them at you see??

cheers

steve

Why are you changing to air?
What length are they? If they are 150 then they are too long for my needs.
Are they in good serviceable condition?
Do they need servicing?
Got a link to model?
Could be interested at the right price 😉
Intended buying some but tend to get prioritised to the bottom of the needs/wants pile so have put off till `12 atm 🙄
I would also need a wheel if I buy bolt through.

they are 2011 sektor r sl 150mm 20mm maxle versions in very good condition.

couple of marks on the crown around the coil side top cap where the bikes previous owner changed the spring.

changing as i want to try a longer set of forks as everyone says you can put 160mm travel forks on a pitch

plus the steerer isnt long enough for me to put any more spacers under the stem.

these ones shown on this bike.......

Trekster, I've got a wheel or 2 that you could borrow if you need to space out the purchases to hide them from Santa clause.

I've asked the shop to pull together a price for a new set myself, think there is a £20 difference between the coil and air versions. Could ask if they would do a special on 2 sets at once and reduce postage?

To the OP, sorry I don't know how much theyre worth, probably less than you hope is the truth. stick em on the classifieds and i guess you will find out?

RL version being sold on CRC for £199 not sure what adjustments yours have though. As they are pretty basic with only rebound adjust.

Sounds like a plan 😀
The Pig can cope with 150 but the Dawg is a 130 but reckon it could/would be OK at 140. A set of adjustables would be best option for me so`s I can swap fork between bikes 💡
