[#1147831]

Anyone had any issues with the new 2010 Revs? My new ones 'exploded' on Sat night in silly minus temps in the dark, on top of a big Cumbrian hill.

Luckily, at only 4 weeks old, they are under warranty....

Are we talking flying shards of fork leg as shrapnell imbedding themselves in all around and taking out fellow riders kind of explosion or more of a oops the seals appear to have gone and I've lost all travel kind of explosion.

If the former we need pics ๐Ÿ˜†

I returned mine last week to retailer to then be sent on to Fisher for warrenty insepction. Not the same problem though I think. Trouble with play in left bushing/bulge area but only on certain pressure settings (my preferred/ideal settings at that!), becoming very 'loose and knocking'. Still waiting for response as to any/what outcome... While I'm here, any clues as to what Rockshox Warrenty Dept are like would be helpful folks... ta

Seen a few go like this. Problem with the seal on the Motion Control side. Mine went and were fixed under warranty eventually. TFT reckon they fit a bigger seal which solves the problem if you have them serviced there.

If you press down hard on the fork and hear a "hiss" from the MC side, that's the start of it. Three of us had these forks early 2009 and my mate had two sets go back and has now swapped for something else, other mates went on the first (not cold) ride.

Awesome forks tho. When they work.

Had problems with '09 Maxle Revs - fixed under warranty and last I heard new owner said they were still going fine.
