Evening. I've got a solo air version and can't get my head round the lockout. It looks like it should have a poploc on it but I've never bothered with them before, think they look untidy and never lock forks anyway. But with it off, the spring loading in the barrel on the top of the right leg is towards the locked position. So I can turn it with my fingers to unlock them, but would struggle to ride like that. So what can I do please? There also isn't a knob to adjust the blowout gate thingy, was thinking if I could adjust that to make it really sensitive and basically make that lockout ineffective - is it a little screw somewhere I can't see? You could swap the internals for a non-poploc version?
Or get inside and cut/unhook the spring loader?
For gate adjustment a small allen key should fit into the middle of where the lockout cap should be...
Or I could be wrong sorry been a while since I've looked at one
i have a lockout internal id be intrested in swaping for a pop lock if your intrested as I always forget to unlock it after climbs but hard to ride 1 handed while riding a rough section trying to undo lockout at same time lol
