I have a 2009 Reba SL fork with a PushLoc. Can you adjust the amount of compression when the PushLoc is in the fully open position?

On my old Pikes with the adjuster on the top of the fork leg I could set that anywhere between fully open and locked, however with the PushLoc I seem to onlky have it either fully open or fully locked. I've adjuted where the cable attaches at the top of the fork leg so that when the PushLoc is fully open then there is a small amount of compression.

But by doing this, when I attempt to lock the fork out the PushLoc lever will not reach all the way and 'click' to locked as the compression dial on the fork reaches its maximum setting before the lever reaches its 'click' position.

I know my explaination isn't easy to undderstand but anyone with a PushLoc might know what I mean.

So, are my options just fully open or fully closed or is there a way to have a bit of compression dialled in when the PushLoc is in its open position?

cheers

Sounds to me like you want a poploc adjust... the pushloc is on or off, I believe.

What clubber said, some people bodge an old friction shifter on instead of the poploc adjust lever to save some cash.

In that case it seems a bit of a rubbish idea, surely most people need a bit of compression for just normal riding along......at least I'm not missing something then

I run with no compression usually - I don't really like having it on unless I'm riding lots of drops and it just adds to the chances of blowing a seal on your fork...

The best way around it it to set the floodgate so that it's quite light so that you run the fork with two options - 1. fully open for the technical stuff 2. with lots of compression to kill bobbing but the floodgate opens as soon as you hit a proper bump. Then you can arguably get away without a lockout.
