I think it's from the seals around the "swing out" valve. I've tried tightening up the screw but to no avail.
Is this fixable? I think my bushes need replacing too so just wondering about cost of service vs replacement.

The 'swing' valves are a pain, tbh a newer shock (Monarch included) will perform considerably better than that generation Monarch, so I'd suggest putting the money that a service would cost you toward a new unit.

Thanks for the feedback. I'd best go shopping then. At least 165x38 is a fairly common option 🙂
