Just wondering what peoples views are on whether boost valve is worth it or if the normal RP23s were better. I see on TFT tuned shox website that they aren't fans of it and prefer the older ones.Anyone used both and which do you think performed better?I have the option of either on my new frame but don't know which one to go for.Thank for any response.

Pretty much as TF say, the older (non boost valve ones) are probably more reliable, but do benefit from having the compression shim arrangement removed and replaced with a different shim stack giving better transition on bigger hit as opposed to trapdooring a bit.
