I have Trek EX8 and tonight I noticed that the rear shock was nearly bottoming out. The O ring was about 3 or 4mm from the bottom.
Is this correct? I have 150 PSI in the can to give me the correct sag and it has not lost any pressure since I set it up on day one.
Just seems like it may be compressing too much.

Sounds fine to me, they'll compress far enough to pop the o-ring off the end.

my rp23 with no air in compresses to 2mm form the end of the shaft

my float can push the o ring off.
You [i]should[/i] be compressing the shock once per ride (n a perfect world) no?
