I'm thinking of using the train to head to the Lake District in the near future so am stuck with those locations as starting points.
Anyone got any good off-road mountain bike routes from Stavely, Kendal and Windermere ? Looking at around 20-30 miles, and about moderate in difficulty level. GPX files of good routes would be appreciated

Just be aware that trains to Staveley & Windermere from Kendal can be few and far between, especially at weekends.
