Going to be up near Ripon over bank holiday weekend and wondered if anyone could recommend any routes around Pateley Bridge. I'll probably call in at Stainburn for a play whilst I'm up there too but any other suggestions whilst I'm in the area would be appreciated
Call in at Stif and ask the lads there would be my recommendation. I'm sure they have something up around Brimham rocks.

The obvious one and a bit of a classic is the middlesmoor, scar house res and traverse of the hillside, then down to Ramsgill. You can make it longer by starting and finishing in Pateley Bridge.
Yes, Scar House resovoir is a good ride. Nice views few nice downhill sections.
