Impromptu day off taken tomorrow so I'm planning an early start and a day out round the Mountain as I've never done it before. So I'm looking for a good 40k plus route.
Thanks to Vortexracing who has sent me some GPX's of his routes and I've had a look in the Good Mountain Biking Guide and the OS. Looking at the mountain range on Google Earth etc it looks like it's riddled with tracks and trails, some shown as footpaths on the OS and some not labelled as anything at all but leading off the footpaths(so could be private farmers tracks (?).
I know I could just go and explore but any help with some routes already done picking up some of the best bits that you wouldn't mind sharing would be appreciated (e-mail or posts to links - don't mind).
