Hi
I will be in the Lakes in a couple of weeks and was looking for a decent 40km (ish) ride around the Ambleside area.
If someone could post a link to a route it would be much appreciated.

Look on the pedalnorth website, it's got a few rides in the area. The Loughrigg-Elterwater-Little Langdale loop would probably fit the bill.

Look at the routes near Langdale post lower down, the route posted by Esme is a classic, pretty tough in places with stiff climbs ( for a flatlander like me) but not too technical.
