Can anyone suggest a ride of about 2 hours leaving from and returning to the Alfred's Tower CP?
Would be nice if there were some cheeky descents in the woods towards the lake...

If you cycle down from the tower then there's right hand turn into the woods. If you follow that along there's a few trails. You can go towards longleat and then cut through the deverils and up to white sheet hill and back to the tower. It should make sense with an OS map.
A few weeks ago it was really muddy..so be prepared
