[Closed] Route advice, Seaham/ Peterlee

Hi im after a bit of route advice from North East riders please.
My parents have moved to Easington and i will be taking the bike on my next visit nr to Christmas.
Ive scanned the OS map and put a bit of a ride together out to the rear of Dalton Park on a mix of B roads and old railway lines then down to Seaham past the Golf Course, but im looking for something a bit more exciting!
So, are the woods at Hawthorn any good or out of bounds? I dont want to cause any grief for local riders, but dont mind riding, ahem, special bridleways, same goes for Dalton le dale.

Any pointers greatly appreciated!
