Start Ski centre to Cairngorm summit over to macdui-descend Etchachan back ski centre via larig an Laoigh
Anybody done it or any suggestions for alternative
cheers
In advance
Did it a few years ago. There's a fair bit of walking, especially up to the plateau, bit of a mix to the summit of Macdui as its quite bouldery in places. The descent is excellent, it was very misty at the top and finding the start was a wee bit tricky. The climb from there to Bynack More was a slog, quite hard to ride for a lot of the way and the descent had been resurfaced. Smooth and fast with regular water bars/drainage obstacles. According to Strava it was about 41km,1500m of climbing and almost 5 hours moving time.
Go out under northern Corrie's and onto plateau. Nice cliffs to look at if clear.
