y das
Bits of the Gap (mainly the climb behind Trfil Quarry and the saddle between the Cribyn and Fan Y Big). Ranger path on Snowdon. Y Das is probably the toughest climb I've ever done, like riding up a cliff. A rocky one.
Fordlas fawr is excellent the mid section is suffering from overhanging trees but still great....
Y Das isnt what it was - re-surfaced now and relatively easy as a climb.
Masts trails at afan, proper riding!
If you go to Cwmcarn look on the other side of the valley, some rough stuff up there.
B-Line at Llandegla.
bit behind nationwide?
The two lakes trail around Lynn Cowlyd & Lynn Crafnant has a couple of tough bits ๐ .
Well, beyond my very limited capabilities anyway.
The stretch by the side of Llyn Cowlyd is rocky, muddy and almost impossible to maintain any kind of rhythm.
The drop back to Capel Curig from the saddle above Llyn Crafnant is similarly tough.
At least for me!
I know many people on here ride it regularly, but I just can't enjoy it.
/\ both my favorite bits of trail in the world ๐
South Wales- Yr Das.
Mid Wales- Cefn Croes to Blaen Myherin
North Wales- as RS says.
@ Rusty.
I'm off there this weekend with any luck. ๐
I am Jeylord.
Look upon my mince ye mighty and despair!
I embrace your mince.*
*In a gggrrr way. ๐
Come and have a ride up my street, its as rough as a badgers arse ๐
I challenge anyone not to severely dab around Colywd! Love the Crafnant descent. Other legit trails nearby, hmm, you could have a look at Ffynnon Llugwy which is nearby and I think is legit. Probably doable by a god, but I had to clamber down sections. Super steep.
