I'm busy finishing off a cheap-ish build-up on an inbred frame and need to replace the 160mm Shimano rotor and pads on a set of Shimano M575 hydraulic brakes.
Things I don't know....
- Can I use any manufacturers rotors as long as they are 160mm and which would people recommend?
- Which pads are the best replacement option?
I am trying to keep the budget low but would still like a rotor that looks good, i.e. wavy disc. Also, pad wise, this bike is being loaded up as a tourer so I need pads that are up to the job.

Superstar Kevlar pads - super cheap 🙂 Although I will prob get through them quiker in the winter 🙂
all 160 rotors (single skin) shuld be fine but I have no recommendations - hope floaters are nice if you want bling 🙂 but not necc 🙂
