When you have taken brake discs off would you reuse bolts, reuse bolts but add more loctite use new bolts or clean threads and use copper grease. Opinions/reasons please

After the first bit of loctite from new I tend to clean the threads and use some grease/anti seize and I've never had a problem with losing rotor bolts, never lost one.

i don't always bother using loctite. even at 6N/m torque I have never had one work loose.

A dab of Superglue can work as well as threadlock like loctite. superglue is very weak in shear so breaks easy enough when you want it to.

Grease is the word.

I re-use them and add a dab of loctite blue, seems to lubricate them to get in there smoothly, and then sets to stop them loosening...

I think the point is: ap long ap you use something, it doesn't really matter what.

I prefer copper grease with the Shimano triangular torx bolts with the aluminium paired-tab-washers. Never comes loose and the bolts never seize.
