As per the title has anyone ever ridden a Rose MTB - I know the road bikes have quite a good reputation. In particular this model, even though it does have a daft name: http://www.rosebikes.co.uk/article/rose-mr-ride-29-4-517474/aid:517488
Seems similar to the Canyon 29er but availiable a lot more quickly - I already have a rigid ss 29er so Im not worried about exploding 29er wheels etc, but it would appear to be better value to buy a new bike from one of the German outfits than buy parts to upspec my existing frame.
