spent a week out there in feb but not with them i stayed with switchbacks just along at benalmadena. saw the roost van a few times at the same trails we were riding but never spoke to them, looked a good professional set up tho and much better bike uplift system than SB imo - a proper trailer with newer/more reliable vans. clientele appeared to be mainly pyjama clad brits ๐Ÿ˜‰ well worth the trip though, nice mix of trails. the one in mijas itself was ok but very bike park orientated ie: man made big berms/jumps etc but so many trails anyway thats the exception really

Switchbacks are based in Mijas, it's mostly sandy/dusty steep singletrack, some in the trees some out in the open. Some of the trails are apparently much rockier but I didn't get that far into the week ๐Ÿ™

Never heard of Roost but the riding's good.

I went the week before Christmas and broke my arm on day 3 so spent the rest of the week wandering round the town, reading books and alternating between perscription painkillers (they couldn't set my arm so it kept shifting!) and getting drunk on cheep local wine.

Unemployments high so lot's of super fast locals on the trails with completely battered bikes and troy lee's held together with gaffa tape.
