Does anyone know if there are any trails around Romiley Golf Course area?

I normally ride around Werneth Low, but looking for some extra bits to add in along the way.

Cheers

What about North and East from the top of Werneth Low, looping around to Etherow Country Park? (ie not the way I usually go to Etherow Country Park via Uplands Road)

I'm in Marple, I normally climb School Lane then branch right up Beacom Lane, then loop round to come back down Uplands Road. If you go back up Beacom Lane you can the take the f/p down into Etherow, couple of stiles to hoik your bike over but they must expect bikes as there's a sign saying "keep to the paths" as you enter the park!

I'm not really aware of much else on Werneth Low but as I'm now working in Hyde it would be good to find more.

Actually the only other one that comes to mind is right at the other end of the hill, the cut through from Highlane farm to Romiley via Top-o-th' hill (as marked on the map - http://www.streetmap.co.uk/map.srf?X=394336&Y=391423&A=Y&Z=115), shown as a footpath but on the ground it's a proper bench cut cart track. Not snaky singletrack but a nicer way of getting from woodley to Romiley than the road.
