[Closed] How do I set up a 3 speed shifter for 2 speed

Play with the front mech stop screws.

the way i set it was small chainring in the small ring position, big ring in the middle ring position, then set the limiter on the front mech, so whilst you can push the shifter towards the big ring position the front mech won;t allow you to pull the cable.

hope that makes sense.

assuming you have inner and middle position rings. set up inner as per normal. then dial in fr mech top screw to stop shifting to outer position.

Will this stop there being 3 clicks, if you know what i mean. Will you get enough adjustment out of these limit screws?

Ta - I am a total newbire to this 2 x 10 thing, so have never paid any notice to how you change to it before.

So as it stands I can just by a 2 x 10 slx setup and just adjust the front mech. No other parts required?

Just buy the rings and some spacers and wind in the screw.
