A rocky mountain etx-70 from 2003(silver, black decals), how is the warranty, on
that frame???
Because i know a few that broke from that year !
Just a few?
I had a warranty replacement on mine no problem, but that was 5 years ago.
-on their website it says 5 years now, so maybe i should pass it on 🙁
They sorted out mine with no problems although it was a 2007 and they replaced it with a 2008. I am pretty sure pre 2007 it was a two year warranty though.
Its worth trying, it they say yes then you get a shiny new frame : )
I had a 2002 (same as yours going by the colours). It cracked, luckily before the FIVE YEAR warranty had expired.
Silverfish were brilliant, replaced very quickly.
Check the seat tube around the pivot areas.
Good idea to flog it before it goes, although you won't get a lot for it, so maybe use it til it cracks..?
