[Closed] rockshox vivid shock

I've just fetched a as new vivid air for a bargain price. On all previous shocks I've had to do volume adjustments due to blowing through travel.
I've not found anything on the internet about adding volume rings like the monarch which I presumed could be done.
Although on tftuned site they say rings for monarch and vivid air.
Is it a case of just being more involved to add the spacers with air can removal needing certain tools?
Or can volume adjustments be done with oil like float fluid?
