Considering buying a set of SID 100mm QR 1 1/8 forks.
Can you please explain the differences in performance of various specs and if they are worth paying for?

You're comparing different model years there. They don't make a 'race' version any more.
RL is the basic MoCo damper.
RLT adds external threshold adjustment.
RCT3 is a slightly different damper, more advanced and more adjustable. This is the flagship 'best' damper BUT they also make a lighter, less advanced version in the XX series. Whether you'll see a huge benefit from a fancy damper in an XC race fork is debatable and dependent on what/how you ride I guess.
Basically there's not a huge difference between RL/RLT and RCT3. The more you pay, the more adjustment you get.
The best ones are the RCT3, if you want performance buy these,(ideally from me 😉 ) they're what most of the Loco team riders use if they're on rockshox, have just developed some further tuning for them as well, with the Euro solo 24 champ Huw Thomas.
I'd buy the RLT; but that's because I've found myself able to replicate an XX feel for xc rides very easily by running lots of compression damping with a reasonably light floodgate, and a fox float feel by simply opening the compession and the flood a little more.
This means that it opens on fast hits, but you retain strong compression damping for pedalling out of the seat.
The only problem now is that sharp braking now activates the floodgate valve and the fork tends to dive a bit. Guess I need more floodgate and less damping for downhills.
