I’m having some issues with my sektor fork.

Regardless of how much air pressure is added to the forks it is possible to full compress them by just leaning on them, however you cant do this every time and the amount it will compress changes each time. The forks will also sink into the travel when just left with the weight of the bike on it. You can pull them back out to full travel easily, and the pressure doesn’t leak away at all.

I have tried a service on them and there was no signs of any scoring on the legs, either inside or out. I replaced all the seals when doing the service.

I have read about the negative air problem but it doesn’t seem like that as you can easily pull them out, I haven’t managed to burp them via the seal and that the pressure stays constant.

Im now at a loss on what to try next. Any help much appreciated .

Kind of points to a broken seal between the positive and the negative: either the main one, between the piston o-ring and the stanchion, or the solo air equalizing valve at the top of the piston (AFAIK, under normal operation the piston moves slightly on the shaft, allowing the positive and the negative to communicate briefly).
