Based on their forks, you'd think these two should both perform well in UK conditions, which has the edge??

Rockshox forks have proved more reliable for me in the past than Fox so I'll say.............the Rockshox one.

Rockshox more reliable??? You'd be amazed how many Rockshox forks we return to Fishers!

I think the Fox one is only a 3-position post, whereas the RockShox is any-position. That makes the RockShox the clear winner for me.

I love the reverb so far, its quality and defo prefer it to the gravity droppers.

RS is on sale (albeit sold out most places) AFAIK Fox is not released yet.

fox looks better and has the cable at the front rather than the rear which in the uk can only be a good thing

always wonder why cannondale don't do one as they use technology in the headshock and lefty which would lend itself to it so well

(scuttles off to email cannondale)

The RS one is hydraulic though IIRC, not a cable, so should be fine whatever weather you throw at it.

The Fox one was just an early proto wasn't it? The release of every dropper post has been delayed so I bet we wont see this launch in 2011.

Therefore, it's not even worth considering yet imo.
