Hi all, my Rockshox Reverb post has been operating a little weird lately.

I was on a really cold, high altitude ride a few days ago, and with my weight on it, it would take forever to drop down. I put that down to the cold conditions making the oil very thick. It was alright the next day.

One odd thing though is now the return speed seems to have changed significantly. It's now really fast to return, too fast! I've twisted the speed control on the lever as far as it goes but still far quicker than it was previously. (it's now as quick on the slowest setting as it used to be when on the fastest setting)

I've trawled through lots of posts about too slow return (needing a bleed) but not this. I checked air pressure and is 250psi.

Any thoughts?
Thanks!

Probably purge refill and bleed with known good new oil and check seat clamp isn't overtight before looking for weirder problems. Worth bearing in mind how tyre pressures can wander with temperature which I've always assumed is Boyle's Law in action?
