My rubber thing has split and I'm not paying 30 quid for a service kit.
So do reckon something like a v-brake rubber end thing might work as I can get 10 for 4.50 or does anyone have any other bright ideas.

There must be loads of rubber boots kicking around from people who have snapped the lever shaft and replaced the whole lever.
Can’t see any on eBay though.
Perhaps bike shops (or suspension servicing places) will have some knocking around in the back?
