Anyone know of a thinner hose I can use for my reverb? I have a Stumpy EVO, and it came with a Specialized backlite which was routed through a hole in the frame, so I replaced it with a reverb- unfortunately the hose is too thick to fit through the hole. Anyone know of a specific hose I can use, as they dont all show their diameter.
Think the reverb is Ø5mm
(and no, I dont want to drill the holl in the frame bigger) 🙄
Then you're stuck as far as I know - never heard of hyrdro hose smaller than 5mm.
On the two Reverbs I've had (and returned for warranty replacement) the hose kinked badly at the termination to the post. With the hose guide and on a FS, it seems like a weak point in the design, so if it was me I'd look at something stronger, so likely not thinner.
Not sure if a new RS design fixes this though?
Cheers guys- Just got a response from Sram- they dont do anything under 5mm- so its a no go.
