With the version on my solaris, it does not have a tuneable waste gate ... it seems to be factory set.
From full open to locked is just over 180 degrees turning the blue dial on the top ...
Does moving it towards he locking point increase compression ... or is it just open or closed?

Thought it was just open or closed. On the remote ones its sprung so you can't set it in the middle.

Moofo, need a bit more info please, what exact version is it (RL, RLT, RT3 etc.) and does it have a remote lockout ?
Alternatively, if you could post a pic of the compression adjuster that would be grand.
