Can anyone help with this fork problem please. The lockout my Rev U-Turn Airs will only make half a turn from off. When turning the level it comes to a spongy rather than a dead stop. I started yesterday's ride with the lockout working fine, but went for it on the last climb and it didn't.

Any thoughts on how to fix other than shipping to TFTuned appreciated. Nothing against TF, just need the bike tomorrow.

Thanks.

It's a well known issue with the Motion Control assembly. One of the seals has popped off, which is causing the stiffness in the dial as it's wedged somewhere. Chances are it's also leaked some damping fluid into the lower end of the fork too, so sending it to TF Tuned might not be a bad idea especially if it's not seen a service for a while.

Thanks PJM. I spoke to TFTuned, always very helpful, and they suggested lifting out the Motion Control unit and having a look, but not a problem they have come across before. The fork is riding OK otherwise, so might just put up with no lockout for a bit.

Lockout not working can be a sign that you have a oil leak from the Moco unit into the lowers. Let the air out (top and bottom) to see if the fork will give full travel, if it won't moco oil is leaking into the lowers , if you can still get full travel its not an oil leak.
